disjoint disks property

A metric space (X,d) is said to have the disjoint disks property (DDP) if for every pair of continuous maps f,g:B2X of the closed unit 2-ball (http://planetmath.org/StandardNBall) B2 into X and every ϵ>0 there exist continuous maps f,g:B2X such that d(f,f)<ϵ , d(g,g)<ϵ and f(B2)g(B2)=.
