generalized zeta function

The generalized zeta function is defined for σ1+δ by

ζ(s,a)=n=01(a+n)s,

where a is a constant. Clearly, ζ(s,1)=ζ(s), where ζ(s) is the Riemann zeta functionDlmfDlmfMathworldPlanetmath.
